Welcome, V2F users, to your blog!

This is a blog for V2F users to post comments about the software, the bonuses, the support, and anything in between.

The only reason you are reading this right now is because you are either a customer of mine after purchasing V2F from www.easywebvideo.com or you are interested in hearing what existing users are saying about V2F.

(This blog is intended for current V2F customers only. If you are reading this and you are not yet a customer and have a question about V2F or anything related to it, please submit a ticket at our helpdesk at www.topnetsolutions.net/support as this is a much more efficient way to get your questions answered.)

It is my sincere goal to make V2F the most feature-rich, fun, most user-friendly tool to put your videos on the web …and the best way to ensure we are achieving that goal is to receive constant, un-censored, feedback from you.

We will not edit any comments, except for… posts that are inappropriate, rude, or juvenile. Other than that, all comments will remain on this blog (good and bad) for all others to see. If we’ve done our job right then the negative comments will be few and far between, but nobody’s perfect and we want to improve in areas where you think we can do better.

Are you happy with the frequency and content of the free upgrades?

Do we handle customer support in a manner than is convenient and timely?

Do you like the free bonuses (do you use them)?

Stuff like that.

I will login from time to time and comment on posts that I feel would be helpful to others, but other than that this is your blog to tell anyone reading what you think of V2F and TopNet Solutions. So post away, don’t be shy. And feel free to post a link to your website, or better yet your video, so we can all get a feel for how you’re using V2F on your site (and get a good quality link to your site to help your search engine rankings in the meantime).

Thank you for being a customer of mine. You know I appreciate you :-)

I tried to download the new 3.1.1 twice and both times my computer says that it can’t run it because it is damaged or it has a virus. Am I the only one?
    Thanks,
    Cliff

    Hi,
Thanks for another great upgrade - they keep on comin. So, apart from the benefit of a simple solution to a task I spent hours trying to sort out before i found V2F, I now get regular free upgrades. Customer service is absolutely first class from Easywebvideo - by the way, where is Emerald Ridge - I could certainly do with spending some time there?
good luck for the future to Shawn and all the team.
    Eddie

  6. brian Says:

Great update! Cliff try to download that agian, it may be corrupted or your antivirus is flagging it. Turn that off if needed to install.

I didn’t have any problems. You don’t need to uninstall the previous version.

I uninstalled old version and installed new version- all went well. Registered- all went well. Opened program- all went well. tried to convert a small videoa as a test- conversion process appeared to work fine, but gave error message “error while opening flash movie” and no movie showed or played on right side. I use windows 2000- any thoughts. thanks

  11. Phillip Mann Says:

Well done for this great new update (new player looks very nice indeed). What has to be said also is the quick resolution of issues from the tech side in the past. A truely great product and 1st class company. THANKS.

  13. Doug Parsell Says:

Disregard my prior post- had to change a setting in the conversion settings and everything worked great- Many thanks for all the past and future updates- especially the price- FREE. It would be great to add opt in box code from Aweber to display at the end of the video- like this

    Thank you,
I like the new viewer potions. This software Rocks! Verry easy to embed into webpages.

  21. Michael T Says:

When I downloaded and installed from the link in the e-mail, nothing was different. Investigation shows it downloaded and reinstalled 3.0.1., not 3.1.1. I find no way to access 3.1.1. Anyone else have this problem? Solution? I’ve submitted the question to support. But would like to find solution soon. Great software, and I’ve been wanting the 16:9 ratio. Strange that others are getting the right download and I’m not.

  22. Eva Says:

  25. Jan Strange Says:

Fantastic! I am so pleased with this new player and the ability to use the player in different sizes. You must give Victor a big pat on the back.

I have been using the original player for our Spanish language website, which we have been working on for a long time now. This new player is a blessing in disguise, as I am so pleased with it, I feel duty bound to re-convert all our 50 videos to use with this new player at a bigger size!. Oh well, at least it is a quick process to convert from avi - its the uploading that will take a while!!

Another function with the new player that I am delighted with is the ability to embed both the video with player using the code. We are offering free trial lessons, and off course hope that people will like these and embed them into their own websites or blogs. Good for us, good for them. In the past I have only been able to embed the video without the player manually.

I have just embedded one of our trial lessons onto our new blog here: http://spanishlanguagesite.com/blog/ check it out and see how impressive our lesson looks in the new player.

What a shame youtube and the like do not accept flash videos - I would love to use them for our videos that we have uploaded there instead of their boring players.

All the best, I will post on your new blog when I get the time, your support to customers has been brilliant. I must learn out how to add my affiliates code to this new player as I’m sure it will gain you new customers once they see it.

    Jan Strange

  26. John Uhler Says:

Great software, support and update! Thanks!

It would be nice to be able to add markers to any Player Style. Right now I have to convert the video and then take it into Nero to add a marker to any player style. Check out the grizzly and owl video on my site.

This software just keeps getting better and that would be a fantastic feature to add/have.

    Thanks and take care!

    John

  27. Jim Ruissen Says:

One word: Awesome! I’m almost embarrassed (but not quite) to accept all those free upgrades. The visitors to my site think I’m some kind of computer whiz, which is far from the truth! For valid reasons, my site is password protected, and accessible only to family and friends, but anyone asking how I do it, is given the TopNet Solutions URL. Keep up the good work, and thank you.

    Jim

  28. LLangille Says:

I’m running WinXp sp2 witha ahuge processor and lots of ram. I downloaded V2F and when I opened the program and a small wmv file, there was no video on the left or right side of screen - just audio.
I ran a test and coverted that same small file to swf, and the swf file ahd audio and no video.

    What’s going on?

From Shawn: Hmm, this is strange. Please submit a helpdesk ticket at http://www.topnetsolutions.net/support and Jane will help you out. Thanks.

  29. Sol Says:

Thanks Shawn for an amazing product! I own a Video Production studio and have been using your players for a couple of years now. I just installed your new update and the fantastic results can be seen here: tzibureinu.com/sgo.htm; I am using it to showcase me Showreel. I have also used it as part of a website I created. Examples are here: brooklynfootdoc.com/cryovid.htm. There are a few videos on that site which use your player. I have used them on other sites with great results. Keep u the great work and please keep striving for better players.

A suggestion for a better player (regarding your newest player) would be to just allow the player to pause without having the arrow and big pause icon in middle of the video, as well as having the video be paused with full opacity. Good luck!!!

  30. Pedro Says:

I am very happy with your software and your support. When I am about the publish my website you come up with a very nice new player. Thanks a lot.

  31. Fred Says:

I like to look of the new player! My file is still large once converted (36mb) but the new version actually reduced it from 43mb. The original file is 44mb so V2F hasn’t reduced the size much, I was hoping for a 50% reduction.
Somehow the video and audio remain out of sync too.

  32. Richard Says:

The latest upgrade for V2F was awesome. I love how easy it is! I was wondering though if it’s possible to set up some kind of protection to prevent the flash videos I create from being embedded on anyones site. I notice that the Flash videos created by Techsmith’s Camtasia 5.0 program does not allow you to copy the video. Most of the time I don’t mind people using my videos on their site but occasionally I produce a video for my members and I don’t want that to proliferate on the web.
Thanks for the great customer follow-up too!
    Richard

From Shawn: We are working on this now for the next upgrade. In the meantime you can make 2 small code changes to add “&embed=false” to your html and it will remove this embed feature from the player. See: http://topnetsolutions.net/support/client/index.php?cmd=knowledgebase&p=view&qid=57

As for protecting them from being shared, we’re doing some R&D in the department also.

  33. Terry The "Mortgage" Guru Says:

Yes, all of the players you showed us are excellent - I would use them all on my site for sure.

  34. Jonathan Ginsberg Says:

    Shawn:
I like the widescreen options. Now that I have a second widescreen TV, I shoot my videos in widescreen both for personal and business use. Its nice to have that option.

I tend to like the players that have minimal external controls. I also would like the capability of using a .jpg as the start screen.

Keep up the good work. You are most generous in terms of keeping your products upgraded and keeping your list updated. Any email from you always gets through.

    jcg

  35. Craig K. Says:

Hi, I like the player at Vidora the best. I like how the controls completely disappear and the click to play/pause feater works.

Xmoov would be a strong second, I like the click to play/pause. I usually don’t care for the “player” look but this one is nice.

Didn’t care for the other two.

    Thanks
    Craig

  36. Henry Says:

I like the following two players http://www.vidora.tv and http://www.sonettic.com/cinema/
They both are sharp looking and easy to use.

  37. Doug Parsell Says:

I would really love to see you add a few new features to the players rather then new players themselves. It would be great to be able to add an opt-in box to display at the end of the video like http://www.magicvideoplayer.com It would also be nice to be able to brand our player like
http://webvideozone.com . I realize I am asking for alot, especially in a free courtesy upgrade, but you did ask. Also, I like the widescreen player options on the sites listed. Many thanks for all you provide.

  38. Gary Wiffler Says:

the vidora.tv player is a good one. The wide screen is great to look at

    Thanks

  39. Liz Russell Says:

Your software works, it’s easy to use, and you even upgrade it to make it better! I’m really happy with your product, I’m glad I chose it.

  40. Sharan Says:

Please keep adding new players, it keeps our websites eyecatching and offers so much more choice. Keep going with a great job

  41. Charles W. Says:

I like the players in increasing amounts to the order listed.
    http://www.xmoov.com is okay, nothing special
    http://www.flowplayer.org Nice
    http://www.vidora.tv VERY, nice
    http://www.sonettic.com/cinema/ Very, VERY, nice

  42. RG Says:

I like all the players. Please add and thanks for constantly improving.

  43. Mel Brown Says:

    I really like the http://www.sonettic.com/cinema/
but the other three do not ring my bell.
What I am really wanting is more video time. You only have a limit of 20 minutes. Cit.com is unlimited. Let’s go for it. Thanks bama4u.org/heaven.htm

  44. Chris Says:

http://www.xmoov.com/ has cleaner lines than you other players. I liked it

    http://www.flowplayer.org/ is very unique
http://www.sonettic.com/cinema/ would be great to handle widescreen, although it would be nice if it had an option not to show the Download Now flag

  45. Brian KLuth Says:

I really LIKE that you’re adding more video players. I liked the http://www.flowplayer.org because it had an icon that allowed you to change the video size to multiple sizes (full screen, half screen, fill screen, etc.)

  46. Fred Says:

    http://www.sonettic.com/cinema is great!
    http://www.vidora.tv is beautiful
Both of the above can go full screen which is really nice.
    http://www.flowplayer.org is really nice too.
    http://www.xmoov.com no opinion.

I also agree with #32-Richard that there should be some option for copy protection on the videos.

  47. Eva Says:

    Shawn,
About players: I personnally would buy a pack of 20 or so players from Easyweb video. I like players designed on CNN and other MSNBC websites. The sample links mentioned in your email look just fine to me as well !
Thank you for contacting your customers, it shows you do really care !
    Eva

  48. Brian Says:

I like the xmoov and the flower power and i REALLY like the sonettic, BUT please make sure and keep the version with no player (it can be used to do some really cool blue screen stuff using a white or black backgrounds)

  49. Michael Borges Says:

V2F is a great product and service! I’m a artist/composer, so it’s nice to have some better alternatives (to YouTube or Google Videos) to post my new creations. I also run a sporting-goods manufacturing and marketing business, so again your V2F comes handy for advertising and “showcasing” some of my products. For example, check this page:
    http://www.amsystem.us/surfboard_traction.html

I liked all your player suggestions, especially the vidora.tv and sonettic.com/cinema, but I was also intrigued by the flowplayer.org player with the “white skin” concept. Evidently it creates “white space” around the edges to make it look seamless with a white page background. That’s a nice alternative to needing a black background to make things appear “seamless” for certain kinds of videos or production formats, etc.

I’m testing another player (from your recent upgrade) for my music fans to preview songs from my new CD.
    http://www.amsystem.us/newv2fplayer.html
The player is set up to stream high quality (192 kbps/s) stereo MP3 clips from my CD. Each clip is about 25 - 35 seconds long and then the title changes when the next clip fades in. This is a very “clean” looking player and I noticed that depending on how I “publish” it, it can have the embed button enabled or disabled.

All around, some great upgrades with player formats and skin options! Thanks for being so responsive to our feedback and suggestions and for wanting to improve the product were needed.

  50. JoAnn Says:

http://www.xmoov.com is OK if something clean and simple is needed.
    http://www.vidora.tv is So,so in MHO.
    http://www.flowplayer.org These were cool!
http://www.sonettic.com/cinema/ Fantastic, but it wouldn’t play in Crazy Browser, had to switch to I.E.

  51. SGO Productions Says:

Love the sonettic player! Please put that in. The xmoov is good. flowplayer ok, don’t care for vidora. Thanks for your hard work! Keep ‘em coming!

  52. Chris Arpad Says:

    Hello Shawn:

Thanks for the V2F and everything you do. I wanted to share my site with you and my videos: http://www.chrisarpad.com/video.htm

    Cheers,

    Chris Arpad

  53. Mark Says:

The new players you sent us to evaluate are awesome. I’d encourage you to add them all if possible. Great job on a great product . . . . keep up the good work . . . much success. Thanks!

  54. Frank Says:

I love your software. Well done + Grate support service.

    Thank you

  55. Mario Ortiz Says:

Can you provide a video player that can support several movies at once. It would be great to load movies from a list or a link on the page. This way only one player needs to be on the page. A good example is the sonettic player.

  56. Norm Says:

I really like the new player I just downloaded and I’m looking forward to the widescreen you have in the works. I have another brand I won’t mention, but this one blows it in the weeds. I like the concern and updates also. Keep’em commin’

  57. Anne Says:

xmoov is great but found the video disturbing! didn’t like the third one on your list liked the one with the band.Just hope Ican find out how to use V2F had it a while but not got it going
Can’t get the new download to do anything have emailed Jane.

  58. Tim Says:

My vote is definitely for the Sonettic player!!! Thanks for the update.

  59. jamie Says:

I like the xmooz player, the sonettic player and the vidora player. In my opinion, the clean the design the easier it is to work with within a design.

  60. Toby Beavers Says:

    go with Flowplayer.org

  61. John Uhler Says:

Thanks for the followup so soon after the new upgrade!

I like all four players. Great to have different options for different videos.

I would also like to see some type on Caption or markee option either in the video or on the players.

Thanks for your time and efforts and great software!

  62. Tom J Says:

Love the player and the new up coming styles, they ROCK!

  63. RnRwang Says:

I think it’s great to have sonettic player coming up soon. I’m looking forward to it.

As far as the other players go…
I’d think the option to stream longer videos should be HIGH priority. I’m not sure if Flowplayer with different chapter thumbnail can be incorporated to play “next chapter” of a long video. Maybe the next sequential file? File01.flv, File02.flv… I also like the idea of publishing H.264 It may give the site podcasting opportunities.

Vidora.TV is cool. I think people will want the option to look like “tivo”. It will give many users some visual comfort.

Overall. Great Product. The best money I ever spend on a conversion software. Keep up the great work. I’m telling all my friends!

  64. Paul Says:

Hi, The flowplayer will be great for websites. It expands the size of the video. I would love it if Shawn made it an addition player, or one like it.

  65. CTT Says:

Shawn, definitely adding the player as on sonettic.com is the right move. I’ve tried the other 3 sites you suggested users check out in your email, but speaking for myself, I won’t miss not having them. Thank you for the first class product support services. Yours and your team’s passion certainly is an inspiration to emulate.

  66. Nild Says:

    Shawn,
Thanks for the recent upgrade the new player is pretty. The Vidora player would be nice if options to include or delete text & some of the controls is possible. The sample has too much text coming & going for my tastes. I like the simlicity of the xmoov player with text on top. Like others have said the Sonettic player is one I would use.

    Excuse the expression but
Flash Video Studio 2 at http://www.flashvideostudio.com/

a great option of allowing the user to change the colors of the buttons, bars, etc adding text to the scroll bar, eliminating any control all of which allows the user to have quite a bit of “creative” control. I have been unable to tame the video so that it looks as good, the lips sync or plays as well as V2F but the players look nice.

  67. Rick Says:

I like having as many options for players as possible when designing websites for customers. The player selection can be better coordinated with the design of the site.

One option I wish existed on the current players is a color option. For example: I have a green and yellow base color for a website and then use the red player because of the features on the player that the customer wants(?) It would be better to change the color on the player to match the base color of the website.

My personal opinion is simple appearance of the vidora player and the screen size options of the FlowPlayer. Would like the options and text to be parameter driven as well as the time-out for removing the control panel. The current time out is, in my opinion, a little short.

The Sonettic player is another cool player, but, has controls that are too over bearing for most of the videos I develop. When the controls are on the screen, I still want the video to be the dominating focus. It is a nice player but for larger, wide screen videos and modern designs. When using a lot of videos on one page or website they are not large wide screen videos. But this should be in the arsenal of players for V2F for those applications.

  68. Trevor Says:

Many thanks for the excellent service and support.
I am a struggling newbie and assumed the new upgrade automatically took over the old player reading here it apppears I must uninstall and re-install

Re your ? I lookedat all the sites requested each had creative ideas of interest. However your own product is quite unique.
The silver looking border looks quite classy
but moving controls all over the area I think leads to a confusion with a viewer.
An idea that I like is to have an adjacent panal that would rotate a graffic. like netscape.net joined with aol has on their email client. This I think is very effective but I do not have a clue how to set it up.
    Trevor Behavior psychologist

  69. Bruce Dickson Says:

I have two comments to leave with you:
First, your application is terrific. It’s easy to use and it delivers. Thanks so much. It has made short work of accomplishing things we probably would never have tried in the past due to the time & complexity they wiuld have entailed.

Second, the xmoov and the vidora players are impressive; the flow player, not so much.

But please keep up the excellent work. You deserve a loyal and responsive audience.

  70. Debra Williams Says:

WOW, Shawn you are the best! I can not believe the great work you do for us. We buy your product at a very low and reasonable price then reap the constant and wonderful upgrades for free, and get paid to use your product as well. That is just a no brainer when it comes to comparing your products to others. YES YES YES, please add those other players, and also the one that Doug Parsell has mentioned http://www.magicvideoplayer.com. I really like that one two. I have never had a problem with this product. You are also quick to anwser any question I have. I love you all at EasyWebVideo. Keep Up the Great Work! :). This is so easy to use and fun to do.

  71. Tom Says:

    Hi Shawn:

I like the wide screen player and some of the links you included in your email to me but I have only seen a couple of ‘player plus multi-menu’ capabilities.

One web site I have the link to is: http://www.word-a-live.org and they have a player on this page which I like a lot, as it does several different things plus the multi-videos. The only thing it lacks, in general, is a larger or/and wide screen.

Hope to hear from you and see multi-selection upgrades soon.

    Tom

  72. Fred Spencer Says:

    Hi Shawn,

Thank you very much for the updated version of V2F. Your wide screen player on your http://www.easywebvideo.com/widescreen_example.html looks great, really love the widescreen look. You have the ultimate software with the best support money can buy.

I like the cinema look at this URL: http://www.sonettic.com/cinema/ it looks great and would be nice to have. The xmoov comes in second for me but thats my opinion. I for one appreciate the work that you guys are doing to give us a wide selection of players. You don’t find very many companies that gives the support that you give your customers. If I run across any player that I think would be a great addition I’ll post it here at your blog.

  73. Irina Says:

It’s a very good idea to add new players. xmoov.com would be my last choice. The only two option for volume are mute or else. Flowplayer.org has a very good option - full screen. I didn’t like vidora.com - looks a lot like youtube.com.

    Irina

  74. Kim Says:

Hate the vidora player. Liked the flowplayer.

  75. Jan Says:

Like the Sonettic. Don’t like vidora, like the look of xmoov, but not enough features as a previous poster said. Others okay but nothing exciting.

What I need is a player the exact same as your latest, which I love - but without the embed feature.
Reason for this is that I have sample videos that I use with the embed code so that they could be freely distributed, but our new website is run on a subscription bases, so the bulk of our videos, ( 100 Spanish language and similar amount of short video clips of Spanish people talking) are in member’s only protected folders, so that only our subscribers have access, I don’t want this embed code in on these players, but I would like the same look.

Although the code wouldn’t work if our subscribers tried to use it, it could cause confusion and some subscribers may try to embed the videos.

At the moment I am using one of your original players for the short video clips because of this reason.

Another feature I would like, and think would be a great option if possible, is that you could have the player of your choice, but in different colours - so you’d pick a style and then click on a colour chart to change the players colour. This could suit everyone’s website colours.

Here is our introduction video using your latest player. The colours are okay for my site, but it would be even better if I could have it in red with the black border - as I have used touches of red throughout.

From Shawn: We are working on this now for the next upgrade. In the meantime you can make 2 small code changes to add “&embed=false” to your html and it will remove this embed feature from the player. See: http://topnetsolutions.net/support/client/index.php?cmd=knowledgebase&p=view&qid=57

  76. Roger Bourdon Says:

I really like the skin that shows the thumbnails. Overall having a choice of skins does set you product above others on the market

  77. Steve Says:

Def like the sonettic player, very nice. Theres also a cool player here http://www.blueskiescinema.com/main.html?main=training_workshops, thats simple but looks good. Other than that the new added player in the last update is superb.

  78. Phillip Mann Says:

    This player looks good: http://www.sonettic.com/cinema/

My favorite is still Style 1.

  79. Jenna Says:

I have to say I love the new player and have loved both the performance and customer service I get with V2F. I have looked a long time before trying this one out and I have No Regrets what so ever. Thank you For a wonderful product that works.

Quick Question - If there could be a way to multi stream video that also would be Great since I do allot of Music videos and like to use V2F but the rendering time to add them all together and then put them up is quite a task. If there is any way that it can be done to add multiple files to the V2F with out the lengthy Rendering in other software that would be great to give streaming video to our viewers without the need for redirects and such.

Other wise Great Job I love it Thanks again ;)

  80. Lynn W Says:

    Shawn,
Thanks for top-notch customer service….after the sale!
Very Rare these days to find a great company that cares!

I agree with Bruce you deserve a loyal and responsive audience.!

My fav player was the xmoov, it seems straight forward & easy use for web visitors and classy look. The vidora players are impressive and my second choice. The flow player, didn’t care for that much. The sonettic wll be a great addition. Isn’t it wonderful to have so many choices on a creative level!

Please keep up the excellent work. Thanks for all u do!

  81. Kenny Says:

I look at the different video styles. In fact, one feature that would make you stand out from the rest is to add the buttons ‘increasing speed rate’ and ‘decrease speed rate’. At times, views want to watch the certain part in slow motion (like instructional videos ) so these features help a lot. I see these features in Media Player Classic players.

  82. John Says:

Hi, loved the players, especially the Sonettic player. As soon as I saw it… it had that Techsmith feel to it. (Jing) As Kenny said in an earlier comment… having that facility on the player to run as portion in slow motion would be great. But having a timeline would be fantastic. If someone id watching a tutorial video, that would be so healpful to them. Not only that, they would ahve the preception that I was doing everything possible to aid them. Getting getting future business wouldn’t be so much of an issue. Hope that helps.

  83. Hayden Waring Says:

    Hi Shawn,

Please consider reinstating the “dial up”, “broadband” buttons on the next release - they were really helpful for me.
Also a preloader option would be a great idea for the swf files. I currently have to use Wildform Flix Pro to add a Preloader.

  84. Dan Miller Says:

    Shawn,
I use your software for training video mostly posted on intranets. Your support has always been top notch. I use it in combination with Quick Screen Recorder and a microphone then V2F to covert to flash. I like the http://www.vidora.tv and of course the http://www.sonettic.com/cinema/ players.

Any possibility the functions of Screen Recorder could be built into V2F?

    Again: Great Product!!!!

  85. Dan Says:

I like the ease of use of V2f and am quite satisfied with it. My wish list for the next upgrade is the capability to play longer videos, and shorter load times. I think having pre-set settings that describe the output would make it easier to use, instead of having to guess the desired video and audio output settings and changing them up to see what produces the best result.

  86. Battersby Duo Says:

We purchased V2F about an hour ago.
Using your amazing software, it took us 5 minutes to convert and publish 2 of our latest videos to our website.
We would recommend V2F to everyone who is wanting to add quality video to their websites.
    Thanks Shawn.

  87. Mark Says:

Love the player samples you sent out.

    The xmoov player is awesome
    Flowplayer is average
the vidora player is pretty cool too
And the sonetic is great too.

Also I just wanted to add your product is awesome but it’s missing one thing…

The ability to make flv files! when encoding full motion video flv definitley gets smaller files and that would be awesome to see as part of your already great product.

    Thanks.

  88. Geoff Milnes Says:

    New video players.
Out of the three, I prefer the xmoov one
    Flowplayer is alright
but I couldn’t install Flashplayer 9 on Firefox so I couldn’t try it out!

  89. Alfred Spijkerman Says:

    Hello,

I like the V2F software. I have two proposals for upgrades:
    1. It would be great if you could switch to fullscreen as well. I have in general good video content and it would be great to view it full screen.

    2. I do not know what is really under the skin of V2F, but I am under the impression that you are using flash 7 video compression, while flash 8 is also available which compresses the video material even more. Due to that it will be better possible, to place HD content on a website, or at least get as close as possible to it.

for the rest, the V2F works great, is easy and straightforward. I do like the new player, especially that people can easily embed my video on their website. In fact, when they do, they place a link to my website, generating more traffic, so making more money. It looks great too.

  90. RT Says:

liked flowplayer and vidora formats, xmoov was nothing special

  91. Marianne Says:

Love your product. Appreciate your generosity… and look forward to future upgrades and options.

I love the richness of being able to watch HD, and so I’m drawn to Sonettic.

Second on the list is xmoov. Very clean.

Third is Vidora… only it would be great with the option of widescreen.

  92. RG Says:

Is there a way to remobe the embed setting of the Flash Player, it is kind of disturbing to be able to copy the flash video.

From Shawn: We are working on this now for the next upgrade. In the meantime you can make 2 small code changes to add “&embed=false” to your html and it will remove this embed feature from the player. See: http://topnetsolutions.net/support/client/index.php?cmd=knowledgebase&p=view&qid=57

  93. Dazzz Says:

By far, the easiest solution to posting video on your website. I had our up within minutes and look forward to coming up with other applications to use video. Does exactly as it says I truly appreciate the fact that there’s constant upgrading going on. Kudos!

  94. RG Says:

Very good product I just wish that the player will omit the embed option that appears on each and every player that indicates the ability to download and embed the code to run the video in another website, users get confuse and the option distracts

From Shawn: We are working on this now for the next upgrade. In the meantime you can make 2 small code changes to add “&embed=false” to your html and it will remove this embed feature from the player. See: http://topnetsolutions.net/support/client/index.php?cmd=knowledgebase&p=view&qid=57

  95. Randy Says:

Thanks for the newest updates. Our soccer parents really love the flash videos I post to our website. As far as the examples you sent out via email, I ike them all, but really like the http://www.vidora.tv …would like to seethis on the next update. Thanks again!

  96. JohnC Says:

    Dear Jane and Shawn

Thanks a bunch for the new player. It is great!

For my purposes - a soon to be completed newspaper web site - the new player presents in a simple, professional display.

While I was quite satisfied with my previous choice, this new model just looks so right on the page.

When my site is completed and running I will send a link. I have also started to let colleagues know about your product. It is perfect for independent news publishers and editors.

Because you asked for input regarding players I add the following:

…your newest version, yes the one I just raved about, I have one small suggestion - not a complaint, mind you, just one item on a wish list — is it possible for your new flash man to reduce the size (height) of the timeline and toolbar area? Currently, that gray area appears to use up more space than needed in terms of look and functionality.

I looked at the other players listed in your email and they all seem fine but beyond my needs.

There is a developer who is putting out players that are beginning to catch on, and he does have a model that strikes some interest - here is a link: http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?page=wizard&example=23

This link is to a page with an online player setup - the sample allows for a playlist.

I will end with a tech question - is there a way to have V2F open a second video in the same player window? Because I have limited knowledge in such matters, I can only get a second video link to open in a separate window/page. I would like to place a thumbnail of a second story/video with a link that opens within the same player/space. This function is why I was exploring the jw player with the playlist at the bottom.

I appreciate any assistance you might be able to offer.

Thanks again. Your products are great and your customer service should be the model for any and all businesses online.

  97. David Henthorn (Perth WA) Says:

    Shawn,
Very impressed with your product and support. Keep up the great work. I will certainly recommend you. I am nowlooking forward to adding a vidoe to my wife’s site.
    Regards
    David

  98. Randy Says:

I have been using V2F for a few months for a soccer website. A parent recently purchased it also and sends me flash files to post. Is there a way to open his file and make changes? I would like to change the player style and add watermark. I have not been able to figure out if this is possible. Thanks for agreat product!

  99. David Wisniewski Says:

Great update! The most exciting thing about is I can actually open HDV *.m2t files in it. Heck, even Windows Media Player and QuickTime can’t do that!

I’m curious to know how the link to “placetour.com” shows in the generated code when clicking the Embed button. Any ideas?

From Shawn: Hmm, that’s odd. Would you send this to Jane at support @ topnetsolutions.net please along with the video that references this URL? We’ll look into it - thanks!

  100. Jamie Says:

Want to install new software on my home computer and laptop. Getting “oops” message when trying to load on my laptop. Will this program only install on one computer? Please tell me it isn’t so! Or how I can accomplish this goal.

  101. Jerry G Says:

Purchased your product yesterday and had my project done so fast, Im still amazed! Fabulously easy to use and it does a super job!
    Thanks so much.

  102. David Wisniewski Says:

Shawn, the placetour.com URL is in every embed button generated code for every V2F movie including yours at:

    http://www.easywebvideo.com/widescreen_example.html

From Shawn: Good catch David. It doesn’t affect anything but we will get this removed for the next upgrade. Simply an oversight (placetour.com is another project of ours).

  103. David Wisniewski Says:

I just want to emphasize the ability of V2F to open and convert HDV transport stream video files (*.m2t) directly is an incredibly convenient feature of the new V2F. I’m more than pleasantly stunned :)

    Great work.

  104. Rick C Says:

Hi there, the new version does not open and display the video portion of .mov files, only the audio works. The previous version worked great with QuickTime files. Does anyone else have this problem?

  105. David Wisniewski Says:

I spent many, many hours today (the bulk of the day) testing V2f and conclude:

V2F videos with the embedded player (I call this a “skin”) play twice as fast as the same V2F video with embedded player controls without the embedded player (no “skin”).

I tested lots of variables; various aspect ratios, audio or no audio, mt2 or avi, 15 frame or 30 frame, etc., always with the same result.

Am I the only one to notice this?

  106. David Wisniewski Says:

Correction: Audio enabled and disabled were the last variables tested. I inadvertently did not enable audio when I thought I did. Therefore, I have concluded that this is the variable of fault.

If Settings > Audio > Enable Audio is not selected, the V2F output video will play at 2X the normal rate. Probably, a transport stream issue. So, the moral to the story is: if you disable audio, expect 2X play rate or, edit movie prior to V2F with audio set to 0 dB :)

  107. Paul Swainson Says:

I am really impressed with latest V2F products and all the regular updates, new player designs and continious support. As a webdesigner and filmmaker of 30 years, I find your video players completely reliable and easy to use. They are really professional in style and compliment the best in web design. I will certainly recommend you to my colleagues and friends.

  108. Ed Says:

Of all the formats I watched, I was most impressed with the Vidora.tv…the style provides excellent controls and areas for additional information.

  109. Rick Goates Says:

I am more than a little disappointed in this product! I purchased about 8 months ago and couldn’t get it to register. I didn’t have time to figure it out and then contacted customer service. They don’t have a record of my email? I have the product that I purchased and can’t get it to register!!

From Shawn: Rick, you know this is not what happened. We have records…you purchased on 5/1/07, and were refunded on 5/22/07. Jane tried to help you many times. You are still on the customer update notification list so you want the free upgrades we send out but you were refunded, so obviously you are not entitled. Sorry you are disappointed but upgrades are for customers only.

  110. George Says:

The latest version is just about perfect. Many thanks for the free upgrades - I wish all software providers were as generous as you.
If I have anything for the ‘wish list’ it is to have some control over synchronising the sound a bit better. My videos always have a second or two of mismatch, whether or not I have applied the audio sync fix. What chance is there that we could get this?

  111. Edward Says:

    Hello Shawn:

First of all I loved your software and it’s really great and easy to use. In regards to the Player Control, it would be great to include the 3 of them
    http://www.xmoov.com
    http://www.flowplayer.org
    http://www.vidora.tv

I like flowplayer the best. It’s clean and have great functionality and also really like to sonettic player too. They are really cool!! I could not wait for these New Players and I wish all the software company were so customer service oriented like you folks.

Would you folks be coming out with a new version that can convert longer than 20 minutes? It would be great if you could as I want to develop training programs that may last more than 1 hour on the Internet. I understand Sorenson Squeeze software can do it but I would prefer to use your programs anytime.

One last thing Shawn, the sonettic/cinema site in your email - what kind of compression do they use? The video is so sharp and clear even when it is FULL SCREEN - Amazing Clarity!!!

Look foward to feedback and as always, appreciate your generosity to your customer. I really appreciate your service.

From Shawn: We are working on several other upgrades, in addition to adding stylish new players, and one of these upgrades is the ability to convert much longer videos. This will take some time to develop as the code will require a complete overhaul but we have it on our to-do list as a priority. 95% of the time you do not want to make your web videos long as viewers’ attention spans are short (mine included) but in rare circumstances you may want extremely long web videos, and we are working on allowing this since it has been requested a couple of times.

  112. Marion Taylor Says:

    Hi Shawn:

Just wanted to say thanks for all the upgrades, new players and fantastic support.

V2F works like a charm on my website–loads quickly, looks smart, good audio, great players. As for your question–Flowplayer is my pick!

Thanks for such a great product.

  113. David Says:

Love the Product and the idea of additional players how can i tell if i have the latest version.

From Shawn: You can always download the latest version from the download URL Jane provides if you are unsure.

  114. Julian Says:

I can not make it work windows vista, so I don’t know how good this version is….

From Shawn: We have many Vista users, please contact Jane for support with this (jane@topnetsolutions.net).

  115. alex Says:

is anyone out there using the v2f software to convert 16:9 PAL files?
we are having all sorts of fun and games, but no actual results. help me! im going mad(er)

From Shawn: Hi Alex, please contact Jane for support with this (jane@topnetsolutions.net) - she’ll be happy to help you out.

  116. Peter Skuse Says:

Why does V2F create swf video files rather than flv video files?

From Shawn: Hi Peter, there are many reasons for this, but since we’ve been asked by several users we are actually working on this for the next upgrade, where you can select either .swf or .flv conversion depending on your needs. FLV is traditionally for long videos whereas most web videos tend to be relatively short (not hours long).

  117. Joe Says:

    Hi,
This is awesome! I am going to use this on some Ebay Actions just made the videos today, I think this will make a great auction tool, you can build credibility with bidders and demo what you have to sell. I also do affiliate marketing and plan to use it for that too.
I have noticed that (for some odd reason) if you edit your web page the video will not load, BUT if you re-copy and re-paste your script it will work again. So I load the video script last, or re-copy and paste it if I edit the page. So far it has fixed it every time.
Also if anybody wants to use the videos on Ebay and the video is on your site just add the URL before the file names in the script. It’s in 3 places. Then Ebay will load it from your site. Same for your blog. Just find the 3 file names in the script (paste doc) and add your URL in front of it. I uploaded the video to my site, added my URL
to the script, went to my blogger account, droped the script into a post and the [blam] video is on my blog, and being fed from my site. COOL!
As you can tell I’m having fun with this!
    Thanks Shawn!
P.S. Looks like Janes pretty busy :-)

  118. Ronald B Says:

I purchased product and cannot download.

I get an error reading “installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. You may wish to contact author of this installer to obtain a new copy”. It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC Command Line Structure”.

any advise on how to install?

From Shawn: Ronald, you must not have downloaded the full file for some reason. Installation simply means following the on-screen steps to choose your install path. If you see anything other than that you need to email Jane at jane@topnetsolutions.net and she’ll make sure you get the proper (complete) download file.

  119. Michael Edwards Says:

    I am not happy!

Just bought this software and im completely lost at step 3, sending email… A box pops up and basically states that because the video is more then 5 mbs, I must do something with “ftp.” I click settings and there is an “ftp for email” part but it asks me all these questions that I have no idea about. Server? Directory? Port??? I have no idea what this means!

Ive emailed “easy web video” twice with no response. I cant find a phone number, and now the due date of my assignment (sending videos out to prospects) is past.

Honestly Im sure this product has worked for most people, and Im sure my problem can easily be solved (I know nothing about computers) but at this point I have to say im pretty disgusted with the service. Easy web video is not easy!

From Shawn: Michael, I just confirmed and I’m not sure why but Jane has not received any emails from you. She works 7 days a week and as most will report, she is quite good at replying promptly. I have instructed her to email you (using the email address you provided when you purchased) so please watch for that.

As for your issue, the FTP settings are your server settings for your web host. If you don’t know what these are just ask your web host and they can tell you. You can leave Port as is, the main thing is the server address and username and password. This is so that the software can upload the files to your server automatically and send your email. Or if you don’t want to mess with any of this try to keep your videos below 5MB and we will host them for you and you don’t have to input anything. Just click “Email” and type your email message and you’re good to go.

  120. Shawn Says:

It looks as if people are using this blog as a support forum, which it is not intended to be. Jane is very approachable and can be reached through our online helpdesk at http://www.topnetsolutions.net/support or directly at jane@topnetsolutions.net.

If your issue is support related please contact Jane and she will be glad to help you.

    Thanks :-)

I feel compelled to respond to the Michael Edwards comment about service at Easy Web Video.

In all the years I have been using a computer and purchasing software for use in the newspaper industry, I have never, I repeat, never, come across a company so willing and able to provide not only service but excellent service as does TopNet Solutions.

Jane and Shawn not only put out a damn good product but their customer service and support has no equal. Period.

Michael, I trust these fine folks will find solutions to your problems no matter what. Just hang in there.

Wow - was skeptical, but I bit the bullet and its does exactly what it claims. I was able to shrink down a 237MB AVI file into a 837Kb file .. makes a HUGE difference in people seeing my demos … awesome product 15 stars out of 5 .. must buy!!

  124. Karl Schroeder Says:

I am starting to get the hang of this program-Just wish you had a toll-free number to call. Jane is very helpful-But talking through a problem is much more helpful by phone or by net meeting or even taking control of are computor–I hope I can send e-mail with just my video and without the easywebvideo attachment advertising that comes with it. Thanks

  125. Leonard Obregon Says:

Wanted to say thanks for a wonderful and easy to use program. My wife and I live in San Diego but our families live back east. They have all been able to keep up with our now 2 year old son thanks to V2F. A very happy customer here. My mom loves to call me and tell me how she’s just watched the latest video of her Grandson. Thanks again. Leonard Obregon - San Diego, California

  126. Ashly Covington Says:

YES! I LOVE this program. I am not very good with computers or websites and was scared to take the plunge though I really needed to be able to add video to my website. I have tried to figure this out through many other options over the past few years and was never able to get my videos up!! With this program, I had a video up in 30 minutes and that is counting all the download and installing time!!! I am amazed!!! So happy with your product. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
Here is the video that I just uploaded! http://www.ashlycovington.com/handmodel/demo.htm

    Wonderful!

  127. Roland Says:

Created a neat little video for my neighbor’s City politics campaign. The file originally created was in .wmv format and played nicely in IE, but would not start up in FireFox. I came across your conversion tool, and the video grew in size rather than get the amazing compression rate you showed with your .avi file. At first I was bummed, but the different player skins were well work the money. The conversion process went pretty quickly and the results were awesome! The lower bit rate video is really pixelated so I maintained the bit rate of my original video.

I had fun making the video, but even more fun getting it published!!

    Thanks!

    Roland

  128. Roland Says:

Oops! I meant to say Well worth the money in my last post.

    Simple, but effective tool!!!!

    Thanks again!!!! ;-D

  129. Hunter Says:

    Hi Jane!

I just wanted to say that I’m am more than impressed with not only the simplicity of downloading and using V2F, but was truly blown away by the customer service. I know nothing about video, yet was literally able to convert a large movie file in no time. When I had a slight issue getting the embedded player to work on my website, your eagerness to help with this matter was above and beyond all expectations!

  130. Veta Sharp Says:

Can you create a more detailed video of how to use V2F. Perhaps a Camtasia screen shot video and do a demo putting a video in V2F. Develope it from making the video to putting it on a website from start to finish and show the finished video on the actual website. Also some suggestions on some good camcorders to use.

So many software developers go through the use of the software so fast it is hard to understand how to use the product after you get it.

From Shawn: Is this what you’re looking for: http://www.easywebvideo.com/demo/3_Step_Web_Video.html ?

  131. Maynard Says:

will your V2F work on mac?

From Shawn: Sorry, it will not :(

  132. Marty Says:

Why does that embed icon and code appear on my player when i place it on my website? Can I take it off?

Also I emailed Jane today, no response. I installed V2F on my notebook and decided I want it on my desktop. They activation won’t work on the desktop. Only one registration allowed? Can i uninstall and install on desktop?

    Thanks.

From Shawn: This can be removed by adjusting the code as explained here:

    http://www.topnetsolutions.net/support/client/index.php?cmd=knowledgebase&p=view&qid=57

You can use this solution for now, and our next update of V2F will give you the option whether you would like to add the embed feature or not.

And Jane has issued you a new key for your desktop PC as there is no charge for additional keys.

  133. Martin Waring Says:

I bought a new video camera last week, intending to capture some promotional video of me doing some magic around York for the carnival. All went fine until I tried to load some of the clips to my website. Some of the clips were nearly 100Meg. They did work but took hours to upload and then when they were on the web each one took minutes to start playing in a fairly naff looking player.

I Googled for the answer and found it - its called V2F. Around about midnight I downloaded V2F and by 12.30 I had my first SWF video playing in the player with no wait time and no discernible loss of quality.

Truly awesome, a very professional looking player too and the price is right.
Well done you - keep the magic coming.

If you are ever in York, England call me up for a free magic show. Martin

  134. Bruce Thorsen Says:

    Shawn,
I think you have developed a great product! I am impressed by your upgrade program as well. Only problem I am having is that I just tried to download the most recent version and got my serial # from your web and it would not take it after installation. I sent in a support request but still have not heard back. It would be a really great addition to have a program to do a high quality job of capturing online video and converting to a flash file. I have never been able to find a good program to do that, but I bet you would be the one to create such a program!

  135. Steve Baker Says:

I have installed V2F and it ran great for a few weeks then asked me to reregister which I did, but it says “Ooops, you have entered the wrong registration data.”

I contacted support and they said to modify my firewall which I did, but still get the same message.

Has anyone come across this. I don’t want to have to buy it again.

    Steve

From Shawn: You definitely will not have to purchase again, Jane will get this working for you. She will simply issue you a new code if your firewall is not the problem, no worries :-)

  136. JB Marc Says:

At first I was skeptical whether V2F can handle JVC’s idiotic .mod extension, even though the file is an mpeg file. I resigned to having to buy an editor that could handle .mod and convert it to .mpg. It rurned out that V2F handles JVC’s file format rather nicely, though there is a trick to it. JVC created two files, one mpg2 based file, and an administrative one, the latter one called Mio. It contains the date and other stats. If V2F encounters the corresponding Mio file, it gives an error message “improper file format” or something to that extent. The trick is to erase the MIo file at which time V2F converts the mpg (.mod) file to flash without any problems.
Nice job, guys. Now what you need to do is make it a full fledged editing system! Oh well!

  137. jc Says:

    Hi Shawn,
Received the email today with update information on V2F - thanks - and the intro of the audio app.
Have purchased it, downloaded it, created my first audio file; all proceeded as you said it would. With absolute easy and perfection!
Once again, you have come through.
Or, maybe a better way of saying this is, WOWWWWW!!!!!
    thanks a bunch

  138. C. Muhammad Says:

    Hello Shawn,
Man you guys are the greatest, what are you going to come up with next? I just love your programmers, I wish I’d gotten into programming 10 years ago, I just love new technology. I can’t wait until the 1st to get my check so I can order my A2F player. I also can’t wait for the new upgrade.

I know you have a money back guarantee because when I first ordered my V2F I couldn’t get it to work and you refunded my money. A few days later I figured it out with the help of Jane so I reordered it. Thanks for your technology.

    Sincerely,
    C. Muhammad

  139. C. Hansen Says:

I have a JVC MG-360 Camcorder that records in 4 different formats: Ultra (DVD Movie):720×480, 60i, 8.5 VBR
    Fine (DVD): 720×480, 60i, 5.5 VBR
    Norm (TV):720×480, 60i, 4.2 VBR, and
    Eco (Internet): 352×240, 30p, 1.5.

Will your V2F converter work with all 4 formats?
What is the largest Mb file and highest VBR that your V2F converter program can work with and still produce a quality image?

From Shawn: Please see post #120 - thanks.

  140. Christina Says:

Thanks for your program. I’ve used it a couple of times with great success, it is making my job so much easier to get videos posted quickly and efficiently.

I am now trying to convert a .wmv file and am not having any luck. I also tried to convert the same video but as a .vob file and had no luck. Is there a limit as to the maximum file size the converter can handle, or does the converter work best with .mpg and .avi files? Is there anything else I can try?

    Thank you.

From Shawn: Please see post #120 - thanks.

  141. Dave Henthorn Perth Western Australia Says:

I have now used the video and new audio programme. Both are fantastic. On our index page http://www.marryu2.com/ and wedding page http://www.marryu2.com/first_page_weddings.htm is our first effort with the vido and by following this link is our first try at the audio
    http://www.marryu2.com/Ida-Mike..htm
I had a few small problems at first ” mainly because I am a bit dyslexic and a bit thick.” However my queries were answered within 24 hours. Keeping in mind our 12 hour time differance I think it’s fantastic. Keep up the good work Shawn and Jane.

  142. Battersby Duo Says:

    Hi Shawn,
We love V2F. Thankyou so very much for designing it for folks like us. We are a Musical Comedy Team for Children. We have written 400 songs in our career. For years we wanted to post our song videos on our website for our fans to watch. Unfortunately at the time the codes were so complicated and the files so large that our website would take forever to load.

Until V2F came along. V2F’s programming is brilliantly simple…literally copy and paste. The quality is really good and V2F’s ability to compress without any noticeable loss of quality is fantastic.
Now we are able to show as many videos as we want on our website. Our site loads instantaneously…no wait time whatsoever and excellent quality.
I would recommend V2F to anyone who is serious about getting video onto their site.

  143. Rick Hunter Says:

I would really like to have a player like the one they use at hulu.com

    ———–
I also want you to let me know if you’ve come across any other online video player styles that you’d like us to add.

  144. Jose Says:

This software was the missing webtool I was looking for. It made it SO EASY to convert our Sonograms DVDs of our first daughter and post it on our website so all of our out of town family and friends can view them! We are looking forward to using this software intensively for our upcoming baby videos for our website! It’s a great value, much cheaper than using video hosting sites, I recommend it!…

  145. Cheryl Says:

I just bought this program, but I can’t seem to get the video on my blog, I keep getting an error message and when I paste the file in the HTML area on my blog nothing happens. I am hoping that you can help me through this. Thanks

From Shawn: Hi Cheryl, Jane can help you with this; her email is jane@topnetsolutions.net. And if it’s a WordPress blog we are almost ready to release our free Easy WordPress Video solution which you will be notified of if you are on our free customer upgrades list.

  146. Lee Says:

I thought I saw some Getting Started Video tutorials. This is all new to me..so I need more help (smile)

From Shawn: Did you mean this video Lee: http://www.easywebvideo.com/demo/3_Step_Web_Video.html ? There are others in the knowledgebase at http://topnetsolutions.net/support/client/index.php?cmd=knowledgebase&catid=2

  147. Curtis Says:

    Looks like a great product!

This may seem like an odd question…but for Dan on Post #89…My V2F webpage
    Other V2F webpage
    San Francisco Chiropractor

What website template/design service did you use?

I like the simplicity and colored text boxes, with very clean look.

    Thanks, everyone!

  148. Maribel Delgado Says:

I love the software and editor also the emails that topnetsolutions send to me with all info.

Thank you guys!!!! Its one of best software that i have!

  149. Alan Shaw Says:

V2F - remarkably, this really did do what the promo video said - I had a working Flash video in under five minutes. This is what I found ….

    1. V2F just couldn’t be easier to use …
    2. It took minutes to make that first video, about 30 mins. to tune and optimise for performance/file size amd re-make …
    3. About an hour to fiddle about with FTP settings to try and directly FTP, play with publish, upload etc. …
    4. Another hour or two to get it to display on my site.

But, as far as V2F goes, it did what I says! The trick seems to be not to FTP but to Upload (or maybe publish?) and then to look for the little .html file it makes *in the folder that it publishes to on your web site* and create a hyperlink from your web page to that small .html file not to the Flash file itself. Then, bingo!

One thing that still confuses me. The help-video (I think) talks about making quality settings inside the Conversion settings tab, such as ticking Best quality for high-speed and then (I think) says press Convert, not dial-up or high-speed. I find that if I want a high quality output I must *not* press Convert but *must* press the High-speed icon, which only then makes a high quality file. Maybe I’ve misunderstood.

As for the free video editor, without a preview this is not really usable. It’s a pity because this has great promise. It looks like a project that was abandoned before completion which is a great shame - it could be great.

Not tried the audio maker yet.

    Good luck.

    __
From Shawn: Thanks for the detailed post Alan. I’m not sure what site builder you’re using so that may be the reason some of your videos are taking longer to upload. Most sites should only take a few minutes, but some of the custom site builder tools like SBI have round-about ways of updating pages. We should make a tutorial on how to approach these kinds of sites (even though they are few and far between).

And the editor most definitely was completed and works as designed. I’m not sure why you can’t see the preview of your edited changes. Please email Jane directly for support issues.

Same goes with feature requests. For feature request please shoot Jane an email as she keeps track of what’s next on the to-do list :-)

    Thanks again!

  150. Alan Shaw Says:

Oh, I forgot to add …. the ability to add a logo or copyright info during the conversion is fantastic.

Feature request? How about an image stabiliser plug-in that can be applied to all/part of the video (so that titles are not included).

  151. Bob Sharpe Says:

V2F is one of the best software values I have ever purchased. It almost always works without a hitch, and the videos it produces are top-notch quality. When I did have a problem, tech support was fast, efficient and very friendly.

I’ve used it extensively in another business. Now I will be using it in my real estate investment training business.

From the client’s standpoint, you are doing everything right!

From Shawn: Well, thanks Bob :-)

  152. Bob H Says:

V2F worked for me. Easy to use. Easy to import into my webpages. Checkout my results of using V2F at:

    http://www.educateyou.com/farmersmarket

My client loved the results and were amazed at how fast the vidoe went up.

Neat little product that does the job with no hassle!

Also, I’d appreciate your help. I can’t find the link that allows me to download “Impact Web Audio Software” that came with my order.

  153. Maria Morand Says:

I’ve been using your software for about a couple weeks now. It wasn’t as easy as I thought, but that’s because I had a format that you don’t convert. I have a high definition camera with AVCHD files. After converting them to one of the common media files your software was AWESOME and simple! So I do have this added step and time of converting my high definition files.

My feature request: to add high definition conversion as one of your media files to convert.

    thanks

  154. Mark Says:

I can’t seem to find a list of video input formats. We edit with Nero and export out with an h.264 mp4 . Will this software work with these files?

    ..

From Shawn - The list of video input formats can be found in the Help file of the software. Almost all video file types can be converted with V2F. Please email Jane for specific support issues with your particular video file at jane@topnetsolutions.net.

  155. Stan Wolcott Says:

V2F is an excellent vallue for the money. I’ve used the program many times and I appreciate the upgrades and support.

Apparently though with the upgrades, there may be different system requirements because I’m now not able to use the program at all. I’m still running with a Pentium 4 1.8 GHz
computer. When downloading the updated program, the system freezes up. It would be good to know what the sysyem requirements are?

    ..

From Shawn - The system requirements have not changed at all with this new upgrade. It sounds as if you didn’t fully download the update, as we have not had this report from any other users. Please try downloading again.

  156. Ali Says:

It is really an amazing program
    I like it

    just one thing …
It will be much better if it can go to multiple sizes (full screen, half screen, fill screen, etc.)

  157. Mark York Says:

I wish their was a playlist option that would let the visitor choose from a number of different videos using one player. Does V2F have that option?

From Shawn: Yes Mark, our Video Jukebox does exactly this.

  158. Vicki Says:

Thanks for the great software & updates. I work for a City - this is a great way to post our latest meeting snipets for community info purposes!! I am definitely not a programmer… so things this easy are GREAT! Here is link to our latest Info page using the Jukebox http://www.ortonville.net/Video%20Comp%20Town%20Mtg/video_town_hall_meeting.htm

  159. Craig Says:

Fantastic service! I am very impressed, not only by the product itself but also with the REAL customer service after the sale. Hard to find that these days.

  160. Donna Says:

This software is GREAT! I bought it sometime back but have just now gotten around to making my first video. So easy to use. I’ve noticed that there is an upgrade. I’m using version 3.0.1. How do or where do I go to get the upgrade?

From Shawn: If you signed up for the upgrade notification list then you would have been emailed the update. Sounds like you did not, so email Jane (jane@topnetsolutions.net) and she will send you the link to the new version as well as the link to sign up for the free upgrades. Thanks for your kind words!

  161. Daniel Abraham Says:

You know i purchase last month Web Video Wizard 2.0 and let me tell you I download your product yesterday and already is working magic on not just my website but also with Youtube and Face book.
Thank you so much for most needed product like that.

  162. Laurence Chilcott Says:
